Prepare to have your palate pampered with bountiful meals, snacks in between and the coffee is on at 5:30am every morning!
One more thing that keeps bringing people back to Tim Pond is the meals… not only do our overnight guests get to enjoy the phenomenal food but we also take outside dinner reservations. We have set meal times; breakfast is served 7am-8am, lunch is at 12:30pm, dinner is at 5:30pm. Typically each day of the week is a particular meal.
You will never go away hungry… we serve homemade breads, jams, desserts, etc…
We have a rotating menu at breakfast: some mornings its eggs, bacon, home-fries, homemade toast; other mornings its pancakes, eggs benedict, and french toast. Oatmeal and cold cereal are also available. There is coffee, tea, juice, and milk for beverages.
For lunch and dinner we ring a bell from the front porch of the lodge to call everyone in for their meals.
Lunches range from soup/sandwich (grilled cheese/tomato soup, tuna rolls/fish chowder) to casseroles (turkey tetrazzini, mac & cheese, shepards pie) and are followed by a dessert.
Dinners come with an appetizer, fresh bread, entree, and dessert. Depending on the night of the week is what the meal will be; for example roast pork, prime rib/baked stuffed haddock, and roasted turkey… just like having Thanksgiving almost every week!! Both meals have beverages of coffee, tea, water, iced tea, fruit punch, and lemonade.
Desserts… some favorites at camp are the raspberry pie, carrot cake, gingerbread, bread pudding, chocolate cream pie… just to name a few.
We do not serve alcohol or soda but you may bring your own.
In order that we make your stay more enjoyable if you have any food allergies or special dietary needs, please let us know when you make your reservations. Many special items are not readily available locally, so we need to be able to plan ahead of time to purchase items elsewhere.
Our cook, Candy, has been with the Calden family and Tim Pond Camps off and on for the last 30 years…hands down some of the best food you will ever eat comes from Candy’s kitchen…
